Ploetzhof Museum Visit

The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of times past. What was life like back then, what happened to a convicted person, how was a court trial conducted, and what punishments could one expect? In the second part, the #ploetzhof is dedicated to the history and development of Hof bei Salzburg – from Roman times to the artificial island in the Fuschlsee, you will find a wide range of interesting information from a long-forgotten era. In 2024, as part of the LEADER Project II, a bridge over the Baderbach was installed beneath the #ploetzhof, creating a picturesque connection between the impressive old prison and the Baderbachmühle. This now allows visitors to explore three Points of Interest (POIs) – the #ploetzhof, the mill, and the waterfall – in just a short walk.
