"Seismographic Calligraphies" Opening on Saturday, 25 April 2026 at 2 pm Duration of the exhibition until 31 October 2026 In his works, Wolfgang Maria Reiter writes the same text over and over – words that have never let him go since his early childhood. Through constant repetition, the actual content of the text fades into the background: the writing itself becomes a design element, and the act of writing turns into a repetitive, meditative process. The meaning always resonates along, yet the central content of the works is form. Reiter uses the continuous line of sequentially arranged letters to "draw" his images in various formats – ranging from miniatures to three-dimensional script objects, which he folds and shapes from inscribed paper. Wolfgang Maria Reiter writes with wooden sticks and ink on tracing paper. The writing becomes a projection surface for the artist's sensations and moods – Norbert Trawöger calls his works "seismographic calligraphies." Admission: Museum entry
