"Seismographic Calligraphies" Opening on Saturday, 25 April 2026 at 2 pm Exhibition runs until 31 October 2026 In his works, Wolfgang Maria Reiter writes the same text over and over – a text that has stayed with him since his early childhood. Through the constant repetition, the actual content of the text recedes into the background; the script becomes a design element and the act of writing turns into a repetitive, meditative process. The meaning always resonates, yet the central content of the works is form. Reiter uses the continuous line of letters strung together to "draw" his images in various formats through writing. They range from miniatures to three-dimensional script objects, which he folds and shapes from inscribed paper. Wolfgang Maria Reiter writes with wooden sticks and ink on transparent paper. Writing becomes a projection surface for the artist's sensations and moods – Norbert Trawöger calls his works "seismographic calligraphies." Admission to the museum
