11. Sports4Fun - Faistenau

This year, the health initiative Gesunde Gemeinde Faistenau, together with Old Man Team (OMT) and in cooperation with Union Salzburg, is once again hosting the youth event Sports 4 Fun in Faistenau, entirely under the motto of sport. Children and young people aged 6–16 can try out a wide range of sports: alpine rock climbing, asphalt curling, beach volleyball, bouldering, an indoor climbing wall, Airtrack, Kids Aktiv, sport shooting, vaulting, Rhönrad gymnastics, and a forest climbing course. New to the program is the Bike Trail Kesselmann (meeting point by the lift!).

Some sports may be canceled in bad weather or offered only on certain days. This year, participants can try only one sport per morning, and group compositions will remain the same.

• Date: 17–21 August 2026
• Venue: Faistenau sports complex
• Target group: Children and young people aged 6–16
• Schedule: Registration from 8:15 a.m.; sports program from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., including a break
• Participation fee: EUR 8.00 day pass
• Please note: Bring your own healthy snacks and drinks

OMT and Gesunde Gemeinde are looking forward to welcoming many children who want to try out new sports. After Sports 4 Fun, there is also the opportunity to continue practicing some of the sports through local clubs.
