11th Sports4Fun – Faistenau

Once again this year, the healthy community of Faistenau ("Gesunde Gemeinde Faistenau"), together with the Old Man Team (OMT) and in cooperation with Union Salzburg, is hosting the youth event Sports 4 Fun in Faistenau – fully dedicated to the spirit of sports. Here, children and young people aged 6 to 16 can try out a wide variety of sports.

This year, participants can only try one sport per morning; the group composition remains the same. Some sports are canceled in case of bad weather or are only offered on certain days.

• Date: 17 – 21 August 2026
• Schedule: Registration at the sports facility from 8:15 am, sports program 9:00 am – 12:00 pm including a break
• What to bring: Healthy snacks ("Jause") and drinks
• Participation fee: EUR 8.00 per day ticket
• Target group: Children and young people aged 6 – 16
• Activities: Alpine rock climbing, asphalt stock shooting, beach volleyball, bouldering, indoor climbing wall, Airtrack, Kids Aktiv, sport shooting, vaulting, Rhönrad, beach volleyball & forest climbing trail
• New: Bike Trail Kesselmann (meeting point at the lift)
• In case of bad weather: Some sports are canceled or only offered on certain days
• Registration: At the sports facility, from 8:15 am

The OMT and the Gesunde Gemeinde look forward to welcoming many children eager to try out new sports. After Sports 4 Fun, there is also the opportunity to continue practicing some of the sports in a club. More information at www.gesundes-faistenau.at
