A labyrinth of superlatives — the endless depths of the Dachstein massif from the inside! The enormous Mammoth Cave will amaze you with its incredible dimensions and a play of colors you wouldn't expect beneath the surface of the Salzkammergut. The name "Mammoth Cave" was chosen by its discoverers because of the vast size of the underground chambers and passages in this cave system. To date, more than 70 kilometers of these passages have been explored, with just under one kilometer accessible to visitors on guided tours.
