Rarities and Antiques Market

Browsing, haggling, buying, or selling at the Gmunden Rarities and Antiques Market is the name of the game when, every 2nd Saturday of the month, antique dealers and private sellers take over Rathausplatz and Schubertplatz. From 8 am to 2 pm, this market offers a lovingly arranged potpourri of collector's pieces and curious items from the great-grandparents' era all the way to valuable antiques such as Art Nouveau ceramics. Hopefully the weather cooperates too, so you can enjoy some pleasant chats in the outdoor gardens of Brandl, Hotel Schwan, or Kaffee Kandur. Perhaps you'll also find a few treasures in your attic or basement that you'd like to sell – if so, just sign up. Please feel free to spread the word.
