Ploetzhof Museum Tour

The museum offers a fascinating insight into the world of yesteryear. What was life like back then, what was it like for a convicted person, how was a court trial conducted, and what kind of punishments could one expect? In the second part, the #ploetzhof is dedicated to the history and development of Hof bei Salzburg — from the Roman era to the artificial island in the Fuschlsee, you will find a wealth of interesting information from a long-forgotten time. In 2024, as part of the LEADER Project II, a bridge was installed over the Baderbach beneath the #ploetzhof, creating a picturesque connection from the impressive old prison to the Baderbachmühle. This now allows visitors to explore three Points of Interest (POIs) — the #ploetzhof, the mill, and the waterfall — in a short walk.

Opening hours: Self-guided tours are possible daily, year-round, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. (Depending on weather conditions — no snow removal!)
