The social and cultural life throughout the year is shaped by a wide variety of clubs and organizations with their dedicated helpers, such as the Musikkapelle Attersee, which delights residents and guests every summer with Pavilion Concerts. On 23 April 1879, on the occasion of the celebrations for the silver wedding anniversary of the imperial couple, a "Musikbanda" is mentioned for the first time in the Hotel zu Attersee. This provides documented evidence that a music band already existed in Attersee at that time. And so the history of our music association begins. Johann Kieleithner is currently the Kapellmeister of the music association. His predecessors were Gerhard Lacher, Erwin Wendl, Andreas Schwarzenlander, Klaus Hubelnig and Karl Renner. The music association continues to grow steadily, and both the youth brass band and the "old" music section gain more and more members who contribute to the community of the association and to its musical achievements.
