Between studio and stage, canvas and dancefloor, he creates a multi-layered cosmos of art, sound, and emotion. For him, painting is a spontaneous impulse – a dialogue with chance. Digital drafts evolve into luminous oil compositions that transform in the process, until a painting "looks back" at him and he knows: it is complete. Painting is his counterpoint to music, the tactile to the digital world. "I paint, therefore I am," he says – painting as an existential declaration. His works echo the Pop Art of Warhol to Lichtenstein, while also revealing inner struggles, fears, and longings – visual psychograms of a seeker between sound and color. A native of Upper Austria, he studied painting in Linz and Berlin, exhibited large-scale, autobiographical works at the Francisco Carolinum in 2021, and shows: Parov Stelar constantly reinvents himself – between beat and brushstroke, euphoria and melancholy.
