Lights off – nature on. The Long Night of the Nature Parks in the Naturpark Attersee-Traunsee.

The night sky above the nature park region is full of stars! A breathtaking natural spectacle worth experiencing and preserving. The Naturpark Attersee-Traunsee and many nature parks across Austria are celebrating the "Long Night of the Nature Parks" on the occasion of the Earth Night on 11.09.2026. With this event, we invite you to immerse yourself in natural darkness and discover the wonders of the night. At this nighttime event on 11 September, the night will be made tangible for the young and young at heart at the Rathausplatz in Schörfling am Attersee. The evening becomes a stage for butterflies, bats, nighttime storytellers, experts on darkness, and for you!

This will be an entertaining "Long Night of the Nature Parks" for everyone. Come and see what's happening with us and join us when we switch off the lights in Schörfling at 10 pm as part of the Earth Night – for at least one dark night of the year. We look forward to seeing you!
