KIRCHKLANG 2026 – Pauken und Pracht – Festive Concert at Schloss Kammer – BACH AM ATTERSEE

A baroque festive concert in a historic setting: In Schloss Kammer on the Attersee, music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber, and Johann Beer resounds – between war and lament, the night watchman's call and festive jubilation. The renowned Wiener Akademie orchestra under the direction of Martin Haselböck, together with four outstanding soloists, performs impressive works: Biber's vividly programmatic Battalia à 10 and the serenade "Der Nachtwächter," Beer's poignant soldiers' lament "Nulla salus bello," as well as two festive cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach – including "Tönet, ihr Pauken!", a musical explosion of trumpet sound and baroque splendor. An evening full of musical contrasts – and a concert experience at the castle that uniquely combines history, landscape, and sound.

The KirchKlang Festival Salzkammergut 2026, under the artistic direction of Martin Haselböck, pairs extraordinary musical moments with the unique places and landscapes of the Salzkammergut.
