Of course, our workshop isn't about extraterrestrials! Did you know that more and more animal and plant species are being introduced – both unintentionally and intentionally – by humans into new regions of the world? Some of these new species can't just reproduce here, they also push out native animals and plants or transmit diseases. Rising temperatures are also making it easier for many new species to spread. What alien species or neobiota are found in your area? How can you personally help ensure that no alien species are released into the wild?
