Of course, our workshop isn't really about extraterrestrials! Did you know that more and more animal and plant species are being introduced – both unintentionally and intentionally – into new regions of the world by humans? Some of these new species can not only reproduce here, but also displace native animals and plants or transmit diseases. Rising temperatures are also making it easier for many new species to spread. Which alien species or neobiota can be found in your surroundings? How can you help ensure that no alien species are released into the wild?
