Bad Ischl Bauernherbst – Opening

On 22 August 2026, a special, small Bauernherbst opening will take place, ushering in this year's Bad Ischl Bauernherbst season. The "Bauernherbst" tradition: We are delighted that the Upper Austrian town of Bad Ischl, as part of the Salzburg Bauernherbst tradition, gets to host its own small Bauernherbst opening – celebrating the start of this year's Bauernherbst season with a charming programme. As every year, the opening will once again be held at the "K.U.K. Hofwirt Bad Ischl". The small but delightful programme / line-up:

• 10:30 – Musical opening by the "Hoabuachat Tanzlmusi" from Salzburg
• 11:00 – Official opening of the Bad Ischl Bauernherbst by Mayor Ines Schiller and TVB Salzkammergut
• 11:30 – Musical entertainment by the "Hoabuachat Tanzlmusi" until approximately 15:00
• from 16:00 – Afternoon and evening music by the "Pernecker Klarinettenmusi" from Bad Ischl

Throughout the event, Ischl's local farmers' wives will be selling freshly prepared Bauernkrapfen, and students from the HTBLA Hallstatt will be showcasing the craftsmanship of instrument making.
