Imperial Shopping Experience in the Salzkammergut: Kaiserbummel in Bad Ischl 2026

The Kaiserbummel in Bad Ischl is an annual shopping and experience festival. It takes place around the birthday of Emperor Franz Joseph I (18 August). The city rolls out an approximately two-kilometre-long red carpet through the historic lanes. Bad Ischl celebrates this with the motto: "The Customer is Emperor."

Program 2026:

• 07:00: Kurhausstraße; Kaiser flea market until 15:00
• 10:00: Kurpark; giant slide and bouncy castle
• 10:00: Trinkhalle: coin press – get your souvenir coin – until at least 19:00
• 10:00: Sulzwerkstatt; refreshments in the Kaiser Franz-Josef-Straße
• 10:00: AM FLUSS – Raum für…, Hasnerallee 2; pop-up – J.B.
