"Hans Greil"展览 博物馆.Ebensee

Hans Greil was a teacher, the first director of the Hallstatt School of Woodcraft and later of the Ebensee School of Woodcraft – and alongside his educational work, a renowned wood sculptor and carver whose significance reached far beyond the Salzkammergut. Museum Ebensee dedicates a small exhibition to this artist and pioneer of woodcarving.

Greil created altars such as the high altar in Litschau and the altar of the Wallsee Castle Chapel, and designed the model for the Franz Carl Fountain in Bad Ischl
