The exhibition "Golden Pictorial Worlds" presents the works of Julia Bangert, who creates hand-illustrated and gold-leafed reprints of the famous Gutenberg Bible for the Gutenberg Museum's shop in Mainz, faithful to the original models. Alongside this, she works as a freelance manuscript illuminator, designing individually crafted initials, artistically decorated capital letters, and animal depictions.
