Museum.Ebensee 「ハンス・グライル」展

The Museum Ebensee dedicates a small exhibition to the teacher, first director of the Hallstatt Woodworking School, and later head of the Ebensee Woodworking School. Hans Greil (1845–1909) was, alongside his educational work, a renowned wood sculptor and carver whose significance extended far beyond the Salzkammergut region.

Greil created altars such as the high altar in Litschau and the altar of the Wallsee Castle Chapel. He also designed the model for the Franz Carl Fountain in Bad Ischl.
