Walderlebnispark Gosau

The Walderlebnispark is designed to offer an outdoor experience for all guests and locals of every age. In particular, it also caters to event and incentive activities for tourism businesses in the inner Salzkammergut. It is also suitable for work with people with special needs, such as blind individuals, those with limited mobility, as well as for student and apprentice training. In a safe and controlled environment, participants are immersed in an unusual and intensive nature experience. All offerings are designed to be accessible to as many age groups as possible.

The Mini Climbing Park: A mini climbing park – an adventure playground for small children, based on the applicable standards for children's movement needs in nature. The adventure playground consists of artificial obstacles (artificial hemp and/or steel ropes combined with wood), positioned at a height of 0.50 – 1 m between living trees. The mini climbing park is built according to playground standards and can be climbed without additional equipment. This ensures a low entry barrier and also provides a wonderful physical challenge for teenagers and adults. Skills like climbing and balancing can be playfully learned here.

Low Rope / High Rope Park / Jump Station / Flying Fox: The Walderlebnispark is a course of artificial exercises (rope and/or steel cables), positioned at a height of 3 – 18 m between living trees. With the help of a climbing harness and carabiners as fall protection, these exercises can be climbed. All exercises in a forest high ropes course are attached to the trunks using a special fastening technique. Various courses with different difficulty levels can be set up. Special routes for children, for example, consist of simpler exercises at a lower height. Seven courses with up to 14 exercises will be built. In total, 73 stations can be climbed. The entire facility is constructed and operated according to the applicable norms and standards. The routes are to be divided into different categories:
