Vorchdorf Music Summer 2026

Summer concerts on Thursdays, each starting at 7:30 PM in good weather! With a varied programme, the Cultural Committee together with the Tourism Association once again invites you to the Vorchdorf Music Summer 2026. Traditional Blasmusik meets jazz, modern brass sounds, and folk music. Ten times between early July and early September, the pavilion in the beer garden of Schloss Hochhaus becomes the venue for various musical styles. Each concert begins at 7:30 PM on the summer Thursdays, only in good weather, and admission is free.

Under the motto "Look around, listen to music, enjoy an ice cream or a relaxing summer evening", the summer concerts are a highlight contributing to the revitalization of the town centre, organized and supported by the Vorchdorf local tourism group of Salzkammergut Tourismus Marketing GmbH.

By train: Take the train to Wels station, then continue to Lambach station, and take the Vorchdorferbahn (Line 160) or from Gmunden take the Traunsee Tram (Line 161) operated by Stern & Hafferl Bahnen to Vorchdorf Eggenberg. There are numerous connections from Wels station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (Line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn towards Bad Ischl, Hallstatt, and Bad Aussee. Please check the departure times!

Bus & Train: Information about the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service, Route 70 – for example from Scharnstein via Pettenbach to the Vorchdorf station stop, or on Route 80 from the Almspitz. Please call at least 1 hour in advance at the taxi hotline 050-422 422 or book online via the booking platform.

Bike & Hike, travelling by bicycle: Coming from Wels or Linz, take the R 4 Traunradweg or R 6 Römerradweg; from Gmunden take the R 4 Traunradweg; from Passau via Vöcklabruck and Schwanenstadt take the R 6 Römerradweg to Lambach, across the Traun power plant Lambach, and then via Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting to Vorchdorf. Alternatively, take the R 11 Almtalradweg from the Almsee via Pettenbach, briefly join the R 13 Traunviertlerradweg to Einsiedlung, and then continue to Vorchdorf. From Gmunden via Gschwandt to Kirchham, from Laakirchen take the R 13 Traunviertlerradweg to Kirchham, then follow the Traunsee Tram towards Vorchdorf.

By car: West Autobahn A1: Vienna – Voralpenkreuz A1 – Exit A1 Vorchdorf. West Autobahn A1: Munich – Salzburg – Exit A1 Vorchdorf. Innkreis Autobahn A8: Passau – Wels – Voralpenkreuz A1 – Exit A1 Vorchdorf. From Bad Ischl take the B145 to Gmunden, then continue on the country road to Vorchdorf. From Pettenbach or Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting, take the country road to Vorchdorf.

Parking is available in the town centre at the Schwarzelmüller car park just across the bridge or at the Pfarrhof (both within walking distance). Please only use the designated parking spaces and respect private property! Thank you for your fairness!
