Vöcklabruck CityWALK Talk – "Sites of the Upper Austrian Peasants' Wars in the City of Vöcklabruck"

On a walk through the city, the sites of the peasant uprisings in Vöcklabruck will be explained with background information.

City historian Mag. Gudrun Steiner will present the most important and sensitive sites of the peasant uprisings in the city of Vöcklabruck on a guided walk through the city area. The meeting point is at 17:00 in front of the Heimathaus (Hinterstadt 19). The walk will last approximately 2 hours.

Mag. Gudrun Steiner (born 1962 in Gmünd, Lower Austria) has been living and working in Vöcklabruck since 1986. From 2006, she undertook part-time studies in history at the University of Salzburg, graduating in 2012 (with a thesis titled "Vöcklabruck in the First World War – The Supply Situation of an Austrian Small Town"). Mag. Steiner worked as archivist of the city of Vöcklabruck until 2025 and serves as chair of the Heimathausverein Vöcklabruck.
