Seekar Church Service in Gosau

Traditionally held on the feast day of the "Assumption of Mary" on August 15, a mountain church service takes place at the "Seekarkirche" in Gosau to commemorate the ancestors and their secret services. After the Mass, there will be a celebration with food and drinks at the "Onare-Hütte".

For anyone who is not as steady on their feet but would like to attend, the Gosau tourist office offers a ride up the mountain.
