Salzwelten Experiences During Renovation Works in Hallstatt: Bus Shuttle to Salzwelten Altaussee

During the renovation works in Hallstatt, the Salzwelten offer a convenient bus shuttle to Altaussee in Styria – so everyone who loves mysterious tunnels can still get their full fix. From September 2025 until 28 August 2026, the show mine in Hallstatt including the "Skywalk Hallstatt" is closed due to extensive renovation works. Among other things, the funicular railway up to the Salzberg is being renewed. As an alternative, there is a comfortable shuttle to the show mine in Altaussee, Styria.
