Salzwelten Experiences During Renovation Works in Hallstatt: Shuttle Bus to the Salzwelten Altaussee

While extensive renovation works are underway at the Salzwelten in Hallstatt – from September 2025 until 28 August 2026, the funicular railway up to the Salzberg is being renewed, among other things – the show mine and the "Skywalk Hallstatt" are closed. Anyone with a passion for mysterious tunnels – and we're not talking about the delicious Christmas biscuits here – will still get plenty of bang for their buck during the construction period. After all, the Salzwelten Hallstatt have set up a shuttle service to the show mine in Altaussee in Styria, running until 31.8.2026. The Salzwelten Shuttle offers an easy and hassle-free way to reach the Altaussee salt mine.
