With the Salzwelten Shuttle, it's easy and convenient to get to the Altaussee salt mine. Many of our readers have already heard the news: from September 2025 to 28 August 2026, extensive renovation work will be taking place at the Salzwelten in Hallstatt. Among other things, the funicular railway up to the Salzberg is being renewed. For this reason, the show mine and the "Skywalk Hallstatt" will be closed during this period.
