You know Boccia? That leisurely game with the colorful balls? Then you're not far from Pétanque, the beloved Boule game from France. Pétanque, the game with the metal balls and the small wooden target ball, known as the cochonnet. It's entertaining, the rules are simple, and perfect for a social gathering. The Pétanque area — framed by red lines — is in the Kurpark, right next to the music pavilion. The rules of the game are displayed on a poster in the showcase. Give it a try. It's not only entertaining but can also be really exciting. Boules can be borrowed from Intersport Steinkogler and from Salzkammergut Touristik for a deposit of EUR 20.00. Happy playing.
