The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of days gone by. What was life like back then, what happened to those who were convicted, how was a court trial conducted, and what kind of punishments could one expect? In the second part, the #ploetzhof is dedicated to the history and development of Hof bei Salzburg – from Roman times to the artificial island in Lake Fuschl, you'll find a wealth of interesting information from a long-forgotten era. In 2024, as part of the LEADER Project II, a bridge was installed over the Baderbach stream beneath the #ploetzhof, creating a picturesque connection from the impressive old prison to the Baderbachmühle mill. This now allows visitors to explore three Points of Interest (POIs) – the #ploetzhof, the mill, and the waterfall – in a short walk. Opening hours: year-round daily self-guided visits possible from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (depending on weather – no snow clearing!). Free admission!
