Bad Ischl Cellar Tour

An exciting journey through time in Bad Ischl's oldest beer cellar – 60 minutes, 99 steps and 25,000 years of history await you.

The 1,500 m³ rock cellar once served the townspeople and the brewery as a huge cold storage facility. On the guided tour, you'll discover traces of the Ice Age, the around 500-year-old brewery cellar system, and learn what a painter's studio has to do with a singing Ischl innkeeper. The history and geology of the cellar are presented in an entertaining way.
