Hike & Dive – ATTERSEE PERSPECTIVE

Attersee Perspective is a full-day Hike-&-Dive experience in Weyregg am Attersee. A guided hike on selected routes around Wachtberg, Kienesberg, or Gahberg-Miglberg is combined with a guided dive in the clear waters of the Attersee. The experience runs from 09:00 to approx. 17:00 and is available for individuals or small groups of 2 to 4 people. Conducted in German or English. Bookings are possible daily, at least 2 days in advance. The price is €195.00 per person. Underwater photos can be added optionally for €50.00. Upon request, a stop for refreshments including a table reservation can be arranged along the route.

The day begins with a meeting point in Weyregg am Attersee, depending on the chosen route either at the dive center or at the respective hiking parking area. After a welcome and a brief overview, a guided hike follows with viewpoints, breaks, and nature experience. Afterwards, there is time for an individual snack or a stop at a hut or restaurant. In the second part, a guided dive in the Attersee takes place in cooperation with the Under Pressure Divecenter. Before entering the water, there is an introduction and a safety briefing. A try-dive is available for those without diving experience. Certified divers take part in a guided dive, tailored to their level and current conditions. To finish, a drink and a small snack are served. A relaxed end to the day by the lake is possible individually.

Hike Options

• Tuesday – Wachtberg Route: A varied route around the Wachtberg with views of Weyregg and the Attersee. Along the way, there is an alpaca enclosure, among other highlights. A stop for refreshments is possible at Restaurant Avocado. 9 km | 330 m elevation gain | approx. 2.5 hours. Direct ascent: 4.5 km | 300 m elevation gain | approx. 1.5 hours per direction. Starting point: Parking area Wachtbergstraße 28.
• Wednesday – Kienesberg Loop via Födinger Alm: A circular hike through shady forests and along streams, with a stop at the Födinger Alm and views towards the Höllengebirge. 13.5 km | 340 m elevation gain | approx. 4 hours. Direct ascent to Födinger Alm: 4.5 km | 300 m elevation gain | approx. 1 hour 15 minutes per direction. Starting point: Parking area Födinger Alm.
• Friday – Gahberg and Miglberg Loop via Schöberingerhof: A scenic route with views over the Attersee and the Höllengebirge. The observatory lies along the way. A stop for refreshments is possible at Schöberingerhof. 10.5 km | 420 m elevation gain | approx. 3.5 hours. Direct ascent to Schöberingerhof: 3.6 km | 310 m elevation gain | approx. 1 hour per direction. Starting point: Parking area Under Pressure.
