Four brass players from the Musikverein Grünau im Almtal delight visitors at the Almsee every Wednesday at 7:30 pm from late June to early September, weather permitting. From the so-called Echoplatz'l, they play traditional pieces whose sounds are reflected back as an impressive echo from the rock walls of the Totes Gebirge. A natural, musical, and soulful experience of a very special kind, set against the majestic mountain backdrop and the idyllically situated Almsee within the landscape protection area.
