Attergauer Marktfest 2026

Once a year, St. Georgen im Attergau – about 3 km from the Attersee – transforms into the international hub of ultra-cycling. The emotional finish line leading straight into the Attergauer Marktfest is truly incomparable and one of a kind. Goosebumps are guaranteed – and not just for the athletes – as the final meters of the race run directly through the two large festival tents hosted by the Landjugend, Musikkapelle, and Liedertafel of the Attergauer Marktfest. An extensive program awaits visitors at this year's Attergauer Marktfest from August 15 to 16, 2026: food and drinks served by local clubs and innkeepers along the Attergaustraße, an open-air stage, two large festival tents, a bouncy castle, childcare, several live bands, and a hearty Frühschoppen on Sunday are all on offer once again this year. The Race Around makes this weekend an extra special experience for both sports fans and festival-goers.
