With two consecutive solo shows, Galerie 422 invites visitors in the summer of 2026 to discover contemporary art in its diversity and spatial presence. From the beginning of August, Galerie 422 presents a solo show by Alfred Haberpointner as part of the second Festwochen exhibition. With his wooden sculptures, the artist has counted for years among the most striking representatives of contemporary Austrian sculpture. In head sculptures, wall reliefs, and object-like panel paintings, he explores fundamental sculptural parameters such as volume, weight, and proportion. Between abstraction and figuration, the works unfold a tension-filled relationship of corporeality, space, and perception.
